Ancient House employee killed in road accident

Mark Golding, number one minder of Ancient House Printing Group, has died following a fatal collision on 23 April.

The 38-year old from Stoke-by-Clare, Sudbury, died at the scene of the incident, which happened on the B1057, Haverhill Road, Steeple Bumpstead, at 10.55am.

His motorbike was involved in a collision with a Citroen car driven by a man from the Finchingfield area.

He leaves behind wife Alison, and three daughters aged one, three and six.

In a statement, the company said: "In the short time he had worked at Ancient House Press, Mark Golding had proved to be both a popular and a highly skilled individual who brought flair and commitment to every task he undertook.

"His proficiency and talent immediately earned the respect of his line managers and his new work colleagues. Mark will be sadly missed by us all. We of course pass on our condolences to all his family."

Roger Grimwade, press officer at Essex Police, said police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died in a road collision near Steeple Bumpstead.
