GPT is offering savings of up to £30,000 after the supplier acknowledged a gap in the market for a flatbed machine for under £50,000.
GPT sales director Shaun Thompson said: "Agfa came to us and said what do we need to do to sell more units, and we said we feel you need to be more competitive on the price."
"Even though you have the M1600 and the M2050 selling at a competitive level we felt there was a definite hole in the market for a sub £50,000 flatbed."
One of the machines discounted is the Agfa Anapurna Mw. The six-colour model, which can print up to 1580mm-wide is available for £49,995.
There is only a limited amount of printers available and the promotion runs until the end of September. "We only have roughly half a dozen units to sell at this discounted price," Thompson added.
