The machine features touchscreen control, a video camera registration module and an optional router for harder materials such as wood, acrylic and thin aluminium.
Stan Higham, managing director of Winsford-based AG/CAD, said: "The new KM 7 series machines allow printers the opportunity to finish their traditional work, such as banners, posters and pop-up displays, much more efficiently and accurately than by hand.
"The addition of the router module also allows them to move into finishing Foamex PVC, Acrylic and Aluminium composites (Di-bond)."
He added that coupled with the Kasemake packaging design software, the KM 7 Series also allowed the design and production of point-of-sale display units.
"Short-run production in this sector is a rapidly expanding market," he said. "The speed of the machine now means short-run production work is truly viable. Pre-printed sheets are cut perfectly to register using the built-in camera registration system."
