The dispensers come in two ranges, the Matrix 30 and Matrix 50, with the numerical suffix specifying its maximum linear operating speed in metres per minute.

The range uses the latest stepper motor drive technology which offers "accuracy, reliability, flexibility and ease of control" in a label dispenser, according to Advanced Dynamics.

Joint managing director Malcolm Little said: "After a lot of hard work and considerable thought we have developed a dispenser that will offer a greater degree of flexibility of operations through a comprehensive array of modular components."

He said the Matrix could offer simple standard speed flash labelling through to high-speed placement with a maintained accuracy of +/- 0.5mm. 

The new Matrix will be incorporated into the whole range of labelling systems from Advanced Dynamics, including top, base, side, and wrap-around as well as being able to be integrated into a wide range of primary wrapping systems.
