The company has been working to reintroduce a supply route of the products with the help of ABC/Allied Pressroom Products (China) and Allied Pressroom Chemistry (USA).

This includes a new generation of premium fount solutions, anti-set-off spraypowder, and the next generation of alcohol-free founts.

Coastline Printing Products director Oliver Gann said: "ABC Chemicals closed its London site in October last year, and since then its products have been unavailable in the UK.

"ABC/Allied Pressroom Products (China) has made some improvements to a lot of the products, and we are now introducing the next-generation alcohol-free fount High Fidelity."

He said High Fidelity had numerous improvements over the standard All Star product, the most notable being that there was no need for it to be initially set up.

"It is a simple substitution to your regular fount solution, and means that anyone can go alcohol free," he added.

He said that unlike other alcohol-free/reduction founts on the market, it wouldn't cause dampers to wear out and did not require any special rollers or other equipment to work.
