Team Awesome Events is pitching 3D Printshow 2012 as the "world's first" fully-interactive 3D printing exhibition aimed at trade and consumer audiences.
Featuring companies that include A1 Technologies, Econolyst and MakerBot, the three-day event aims to present the latest innovations and applications within the sector.
These include the consumer, fashion, home, music, education, transportation, and architectural industries.
Kerry Hogarth, founder of Team Awesome Events and 3D Printshow, said the advent of the new show comes at a time when 3D printing is moving out of the factory and into daily lives.
She added: "The prospect of the crème of the manufacturing industry coming together and collaborating with fashion designers, artists, scientists, entertainers, musicians, consumers and world renowned brands is extremely exciting, and I can’t wait to see the resulting ideas and creations."
Day one of 3D Printshow is being targeted as a trade industry day, while the second and third are ticketed days dedicated to consumers and the applications of 3D printing technology.
