"Hertford Offset has done so much for Isabel Hospice over the years – the firm’s owner and managing director, Peter Wilkerson, started to support us when one of his staff had a family member under our care. One of our patients, Wendy Aspinall, had always dreamed of becoming a children’s illustrator. But, at 35, she was diagnosed with a liver tumour and has received care from us for the past six months. She discovered she had a talent for illustrations and applied to the Willow Foundation, a national charity that funds and organises special days for seriously ill young adults. The foundation organised for Wendy’s work to be printed by Hertford Offset for an exhibition. Wendy met with Peter and he offered to print her greetings cards free of charge and use the designs for the firm’s 2009 calendar. Wendy’s card range is now on sale at all 12 Isabel Hospice shops."
