Diary alert – a month today Ipex opens its doors.
If I had £1 for every time someone had asked me “what’s Ipex going to be like?” over past months, I’d probably have enough for a slap-up supper for two at The Ivy.
I don’t know what Ipex will be like.
What I do know is that it will be very different from Ipex-as-we’ve-known-it.
I also know that many and various people have put a hell of a lot of work into it reformulating the event and making it happen.
And I know, from the merest glance at the list of talks and seminars scheduled for the show, that it would be worth going for some of those sessions alone.
I know that exhibitors large and small on the floorplan have some good stuff to show.
And, dear reader, get this: I know that Riso will be there. Riso! After the disappointment of Riso’s Drupa no-show, I’ll be able to see where they’re at with their speedy low-cost inkjet kit.
I know that this time next month I’ll be at London’s Excel.
