The kit is located at Paragon’s Tewkesbury facility, which was mothballed last year. 

A Paragon spokesperson told Printweek that since then technical teams have operated out of the 5,470sqm building with some production taking place as required. The site has now closed.

The building is being advertised for lease via Alder King, while the equipment sale is being handled by NCM Auctions and comprises 309 lots.

It includes multiple Ricoh IP5000 continuous feed colour inkjet printers, Ricoh and Xerox cut-sheet toner devices, and a host of Hunkeler and Tecnau equipment.

A large amount of pallet racking, lift trucks, reel trucks, secure document cages, balers and a backup diesel generator also form part of the sale.

Some of the equipment is also understood to be surplus items acquired when Paragon took over parts of the Communisis business at the end of last year.

Viewing is by appointment only with the auction set to conclude from 1pm on 17 July.

The Tewkesbury site was formerly an RR Donnelley facility and became part of Paragon in 2019 when the group acquired RRD’s global BPO operation.
