Prinergy On Demand Business Solutions are hosted on the Microsoft Azure platform.
Kodak said the cloud-based system eliminated the need for the “ongoing cost and hassle” of maintaining disparate software systems, with users protected against cyber attacks through “secure, redundant and real-time security monitoring for peace of mind and uninterrupted operation”.
Todd Bigger, vice president of Kodak’s Print division, said: “Printers get the peace of mind of seamless, automated, print-specific solutions without the finger-pointing, complexity and hidden costs of having to integrate products from different vendors.”
Prinergy On Demand Business Solutions now encompasses Office, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and MIS functionality along with collaboration solutions, web-to-print and the Prinergy production workflow tools.
“Kodak has enhanced the software with industry-specific analytics and AI capabilities, and takes care of integration, IT administration and ongoing maintenance through real-time Managed Services,” the company stated.
It will be initially rolled out in Western Europe and North America from 1 January 2021.
