The Colchester, Essex-based gift, loyalty and membership cards specialist, which separated from CPI Card Group to form an independent business in 2018, will take delivery of the Promatrix 106 CSB in late August.
The kit will both replace long-serving machinery and boost the company’s efficiency and capabilities.
The Promatrix 106 CSB (cutting, stripping, blanking) has a non-stop feeder and non-stop delivery (rake system). This eliminates stops between pallet changes while still being able to handle pallets with the typical pile heights found in folding carton environments.
Several standard features enable short set-up times, including central adjustment of rollers and brushes on the feed table, quick lock frame of the cutting station, and fine adjustment system of the cutting plate, as well as quick lock systems in the stripping station and the blanking station, also with fine adjustment.
Incodia International chose the device after carrying out a review of the competition and visiting an existing Promatrix 106 CSB user.

“This equipment not only improves our offering and efficiencies across our existing product and customers portfolio, but it also opens up new markets and opportunities within the packaging sectors.”
In 2018, Incodia International installed the first Heidelberg CX 102-8+L UV press in the UK with spectral colour measurement. Its relationship with the manufacturer has developed further over the years, with the business using Heidelberg service and having Saphira consumables on consignment.
The business also operates a Kyocera TASKalfa Pro 15000c inkjet press, Sakurai MS72A and MF-80 silk-screen printers, and an array of die-cutting, collating, folding, and laminating equipment. Its next investment is likely to be a folder/gluer machine.
Incodia International has over 140 employees. Its Colchester site is around 3,160sqm and predominantly produces cards and associated packaging to supply to brands and retailers.
The business also has a circa-3,000sqm operation in Skelmersdale, Lancashire that predominantly produces personalised cards, carriers, and packs to be sent direct to consumers, such as loyalty and membership card programmes.
