ePS appoints new CEO at print wing

Vertachnik plans to build upon established foundations at ePS

eProductivity Software has appointed an AI and automation expert as the new head of its Print ePS business unit.

Dan Vertachnik joined the MIS and ERP software specialist as CEO of Print ePS last month.

As a result of his appointment, Gaby Matsliach will transition to become executive chairman of Print ePS, and will remain as CEO of the ePS Packaging operation.

He said: “We are excited to welcome Dan to the ePS family. I look forward to working with him to drive Print ePS’s strategy forward.”

Vertachnik has a long track record in senior tech roles, most recently as CEO of Twenty20 Solutions, which provides AI-enabled smart technology used for security, surveillance and access control.

Prior to that he was COO at manufacturing ERP software specialist IQMS.

Vertachnik said he was thrilled to join “the largest global software technology provider for the print industry”.

“My focus in leading Print ePS will be to build upon the company’s rich 30-year foundation and service to the print industry and continue to deliver value to our customers. This will be achieved through continued innovation across the portfolio, expanding partnerships, executing on our M&A strategy, and ensuring the long-term growth and success of Print ePS.”

He will be at the upcoming Drupa expo, which opens on 28 May.

ePS is exhibiting in Hall7a/E03 and will launch its new Nubium cloud-based MIS at the show.
