The machine helped us achieve ISO 12647-2 colour certification easily and provided a massive step up in productivity, faster running speeds and better wash-ups. Much of the work running through the perfector is section work for magazines, brochures and books in four-back-four with sealing.
We were so pleased with results that we decided to invest in a second Rapida 105 press – a six-colour machine with inline coating and heavy stock handling options. The decision to broaden the spec on the new press has already paid dividends as we have gained contracts for greetings cards, postcards and packaging for airline catering.

We installed a 10-colour KBA Rapida 105 long perfector at the beginning of 2007.
