Officially launched in March, the L1810 on display was fitted with a Vision camera system, allowing it to cut, scan and feed simultaneously.
Elice Van Es, marketing communications manager, said: “In the end, it’s a really high performance machine; it’s not stopping and waiting, it’s continuous.”
Summa has priced the 100W version of the cutter, suitable for thinner materials, at around €100,000 – or €120,000 with the Vision system – but with other optional extras, such as upgraded lasers – prices will be higher.
Van Es, however, said that upgrades can be easily retrofitted.
Summa’s other recent addition, the Tray One A3 sheet feeder, was also on display, feeding vinyl sticker paper directly into an S One D60 cutter for contra-cutting.
