The toner-based 36in machine can print posters in high quality, even when using plain paper, and all prints are UV resistant, water resistant and completely dry, making the device suitable for inline folding.
Rowe said the machine could be used by engineers, architects, construction companies and public institutions - for CAD, GIS, AEC and manufacturing applications - as well as graphics companies and repro houses.
The business said customers wanting full-colour posters for outdoor use or POS benefit from the prints being non-fade and water resistant.
The ColorPress series will be available in several different speeds to cater for all print volumes and commercial availability is expected in 2017.
