The 100% PVC digidécor creatable table covers come in three finishes: linen weave, fine linen and a brushed texture and have a non-woven backing that adds a soft quality to the material, allowing it to be draped over any shape of table, the supplier said.

Papergraphics said the substrates can be used both inside and outdoors, making it suitable for restaurants, cafes, events, schools, weddings and other parties and can easily be cut to size without the edges fraying.

Product manager Michelle Dellow, said: “We’ve had great interest so far. Clients say people have been asking if they did them. There’s nothing else in the market like it.

“It’s a quick and easy sell for our customers; it’s something they can put on their printers, cut it to size and post it to their customers. It’s quick and easy.”

The table covers come in 1.37m-wide rolls, 25m long and are suitable for latex, UV, eco-solvent and solvent ink technologies. They are said to be fully waterproof and wipe-able and strong enough to be clipped to tables without being damaged.

Dellow added: “Digidécor can be used for absolutely anything, for celebration occasions, such as weddings or birthdays, or in restaurants and bars or for corporate branding at events.”

The new rolls cost £3.95/sqm and will be commercially available towards the end of this month.

Separately Crawley, West Sussex-based Papergraphics will use Drupa as the launchpad for the Massivit’s 1800 3D printer and Dimengel 3D printing material. The Massivit 1800 'print' hollow 3D shapes of up to 1.8m tall, 1.5m wide and 1.2m deep.

Papergraphics signed a deal with the Israeli start-up for exclusive sales rights of the technology in the UK and Ireland.
