The company has expanded its Aquamarine offering with the addition of both fluorescent yellow and fluorescent pink.
The Aquamarine AQ10-DST-HC ink is a dye-sub range developed for use on Epson DX4, DX5, DX6, DX7, 5113, PrecisionCore TFP, XP600 and EPS3200 printheads. It is optimised for transfer printing on coated and uncoated transfer paper.
Nutec said high density colour leads to reduced ink consumption, with faster print speeds for increased productivity and vibrant images.
Recommended applications for the new inks include activewear, interior decor textiles, graphic arts and soft signage using substrates with a minimum 60% polyester content.
Nutec sales and marketing director Neil Green said: “We are seeing an exponential increase in demand for digital textile printing as companies look for more sustainable and waste-reducing ways to do business into the future.
“The shift from traditional to digital printing in the textile industry allows for rapid small sample testing, short runs with quick turnaround times and less stockpiling at warehouses.
“This is preferred in the fashion and interior decor industries as it will result in general waste reduction, while time to market is improved. This trend is encouraging for Nutec as we choose to invest in new products and innovations for this sector, the latest being our fluorescent specialty inks offering.”
