Mondi to show expanded paper range at HID

Mondi is finessing its offering as inkjet technology continued to advance

Mondi will show an expanded Nautilus recycled paper range as part of its portfolio of high-speed inkjet papers at Hunkeler Innovationdays later this month.

The firm’s Nautilus ProCycle range is made from 100% post-consumer waste, and its sustainability certifications include Cradle to Cradle Certified Bronze, Blue Angel, FSC and EU Ecolabel.

The paper’s whiteness is 135, with ISO brightness of 100.

Bernhard Cantzler, marketing and sales director at Mondi Uncoated Fine Paper, said Mondi’s products were evolving alongside market demands.

“We take our commitment to sustainability and the circular economy very seriously and want to help support customers conserve resources by using our products,” he said.

Mondi said it was finessing its offering as inkjet technology continued to advance, with papers designed for optimal drying times, with products enabling customers to “achieve rich colours, reduce ink consumption, and lower costs”.

Mondi’s Nautilus SuperWhite 90gsm for HP Indigo will also be showcased on the HP stand at the expo.

Mondi Uncoated Fine Paper is part of the €7.3bn (£6bn) turnover Mondi Group.
