Suitable for transactional printing and mailing houses looking for high speed continuous printing without image quality deterioration, the digital press uses Kyocera’s proprietary inkjet technology and its large printheads enable fast single-pass printing.
The manufacturer said the machine also plugs into a 13amp socket and uses up to 70% less power than laser-based counterparts.
Using eco-friendly water-based inks, the device comes carbon-neutral as standard and every page printed is reforested through Kyocera’s Document Solutions UK’s MyClimate and PrintReleaf programmes.
Other key features of the TASKalfa Pro 15000c/B include up to 150 A4 ppm print capability, a monthly volume of one million prints, variable data printing, and the capability to handle a wide range of media.
Martin Fairman, group sales and marketing director at Kyocera UK, said: “The TASKalfa Pro 15000c/B is a robust addition to our production print portfolio and will ensure more customers with high-volume print requirements can get their work done efficiently and at the lowest possible cost.
“Sustainability is a crucial consideration for us at Kyocera, and we always want to ensure this philosophy shines through in our products. The TASKalfa Pro 15000c/B is another significant step forward in this endeavour, as it enables customers to fulfil their print needs without worrying about environmental cost.
“We look forward to seeing what our customers think of the new printer and are particularly pleased to offer another device that strikes a balance between a product that meets the demands of users while being fully carbon neutral.”
The TASKalfa Pro 15000c, Kyocera’s first production printer, was launched in late 2019.
