The M2500i 2.5m-wide UV inkjet printer, the newest release in the Agfa Anapurna i-series, is designed for high-volume workloads.
Its optional board feeder enables up to five boards to be printed in parallel to increase productivity, while the system also offers roll-to-roll and roll-to-sheet printing for rigid and flexible media.
The machine uses Konica Minolta printheads to print six colours plus white at a maximum resolution of 1,440x720dpi and at speeds of up to 115sqm/hr.
The machine can be used to produce indoor and outdoor displays, small personalised items, fine art, backlit applications and interior decor.
I-Sub Digital director Andy Spreag said: "The M2500i is a hard-working machine that will definitely appeal to sign and display companies who need a printer that will handle bread and butter work quickly and efficiently, while offering potential new revenue through a wide variety of other print products."
Kettering-based firm I-Sub Digital supplies a range of wide-format printing, cutting and laminating equipment and software from manufacturers including Mimaki, Agfa, Zünd, Vivid, Wasatch and Onyx.
