The LW1 and LW3 lamp heads offer energy saving benefits, including the ability to switch the lamps on and off instantly during production or other necessary breaks.

GEW company spokesperson Martin Kugler said: “Since the lamp heads use a lot of energy, over the year this saving adds up.

“We are hoping to make inroads into the digital printing market at Fespa.”

The lamp heads are available to order immediately. Kugler said pricing is in line with the firm’s conventional UV alternatives.
