Previewed at Drupa 2024, the new presses can handle media from 52gsm to 400gsm, with speeds up to 100ppm on the EC2100 line and up to 85ppm on the SC285 line.
Both the EC2100 and SC285 are four-colour toner presses, with the ‘S’ models given an additional speciality toner station to allow five-colour printing in one pass, with printers able to choose clear, pink, gold, silver and white toners.
According to Fujifilm, properly trained operators can switch out the special toner in 10 minutes.
All four of the new models can print up to 2,400dpi, are available with optional air suction feeder and static eliminator, and are compatible with Revoria Flow and Fiery workflow software.
Printers can expect prices from €35,000 (£28,900) for the baseline SC285, and from around €65,000 (£53,600) for the EC2100.
“The Revoria range has been very successful across Europe, and Fujifilm is delighted with the market reception and the impact it has had,” Spencer Green, Fujifilm’s UK head of Print on Demand, told Printweek.
“[Printers can expect to wait] approximately eight weeks if they order in January, due to high demand and pre-orders from trade shows. We expect these new presses to be highly successful.”
Previewed at Drupa and Birmingham’s The Print Show, the presses are now available for demonstrations at Fujifilm’s print experience centres around Europe.
