Launched in late September following beta testing earlier in the summer, the Logo Editor program is now available for early adoption by four print partners; FastEditor expects to be able to work with up to 100 more in 2025.
Rick Molenaar, FastEditor’s commercial director, told Printweek: “We’ll try to stick to four partners until the end of the year, to provide the best possible service.
“For our partners, we brand the editor and set up their products, and in 2024 we prefer this to do well for four partners, rather than less well for, say, 10.”
The editor, hosted on a print partner’s website, allows clients to visualise their logo on printers’ full range of products, with clients able to place the logo on products, switch between colour options and printing techniques, and approve their designs.
Once clients are happy with the design, Logo Editor delivers print-ready files for the printer’s workflow, whether in PNG, PDF, or SVG formats. The program can also add a mock-up with the logo file.
“We have a standard plug-in for Woocommerce and are working on a Shopify App,” added Molenaar.
“But [Logo Editor] is easy to integrate in any software, and often takes less than four weeks for full integration.”
FastEditor claims the new editor can give printers a significant advantage in closing sales, when clients are able to play around with their designs and see them on the merchandise.
Results from the firm’s first test partners have shown a 20% increase in online conversion, and a 25% increase in basket value – the latter thanks in large part to FastEditor’s Cross Sell Module, which shows the uploaded logo on complementary products, encouraging customers to buy more.
