Manufactured in Sweden at the Iggesund Paper Mill, Invercote is a solid paperboard for digital printing on thicker paper material. All of the products in the range are fully guaranteed on both toner-based and HP Indigo presses.
“Our customers are demanding a wider choice of material, particularly digital products where we have seen considerable growth in recent years,” said EBB sales and marketing director Chris Sandwell.
“Printers want quality products with a range of stock sizes backed by a consistent, reliable service.”
The range comprises Invercote G, a one-sided, triple-coated matt SBS board, Invercote Creato a two-sided double-coated matt SBS board, and metallic silver laminated board Invercote Metalprint.
Invercote G is suitable for packaging, greetings cards, book covers and commercial print applications. It is available in various weights from 260-350gsm and is stocked in SRA3+ and B2+ sheet sizes for HP Indigo presses.
Invercote Creato is targeted at high-quality packaging and for where the boards need to be creased across both grain directions. It is available in SRA3+ size sheets with various weights from 280-400gsm.
Both Invercote G and Creato are resistant to cracking on the fold, are odour and taint neutral and are approved for food contact. Each product is commercially available from EBB with immediate effect.
Invercote Metalprint, which EBB said it expects to begin stocking “imminently”, has been guaranteed for printing on HP’s Indigo 10000, 12000 and 30000 series presses. It is available in B2+ size sheets in a single weight of 329gsm.
The three papers join a range of existing packaging products from Invercote in EBB’s portfolio.
