The partnership was announced at Drupa at Messe Düsseldorf, with the debut of the CoConnect integration with MBO’s Datamanager.
The two companies said the tie-up offers integration highlights including “effortless connectivity” between MBO’s finishing kit and existing print company setups; and data-driven optimisation – by leveraging the capabilities of Datamanager, users will be able to harness data insights to optimise their operations, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
Andreas Aplien, director at CoCoCo, said: “We are thrilled to partner with MBO and bring this innovative integration to Drupa 2024. Our shared vision that the future of print lies in cloud technology aligns perfectly with our mission to provide seamless connectivity solutions.
“This integration will simplify the connectivity landscape for our customers, making it easier than ever to connect various software and machines within their print shop ecosystem.”
Thomas Heininger, CEO of MBO, also commented: “Partnering with CoCoCo allows us to enhance the capabilities of our Datamanager, offering our customers advanced data management and connectivity solutions.
“This integration is a significant step towards achieving greater operational efficiency and flexibility in print finishing.”
The integration is being demonstrated at Hall 7, Stand A06 at Drupa until Friday (7 June).
Established by former colleagues from Zaikio, CoCoCo launched last month with the aim to “enable compatibility, connectivity, and collaboration across the print industry worldwide”.
Heidelberg-owned business Zaikio, known for its cloud-based data and app platform, went into liquidation in April.
