The inline flatbed features a new Azon RIP and six new 500ml ink tanks, to replace cartridges, and was on display at the wide-format trade show held in the RAI in Amsterdam.
The Razor Conti can print up to six layers on a bed size of 290x800mm to create raised or embossed print of up to 2mm high on PET, polycarbonate, TPU, wood, leathers and other soft materials at a resolution of up to 5,760dpi. Standard resolution is at 2,880dpi. The eight-channel, six-colour machine uses Epson printheads configured CMYK with double hit varnish and white. It can print on 3D objects up to 300m wide and 200mm high.
“The new RIP can easily process Braille in one pass. We’re the only one in the market that can print Braille inline,” said sales executive Dalija Žderic Guštin. “Fespa is great for us,” she said. "I've been to five or six Fespas in the past but this is the best one; it's the best choice of town.
"It's a good opportunity; it’s not just for European companies and people, it’s international. A lot of our partners are here and we can discuss with them our expection of business. We hope that in the next few months we will do a lot of new business and we’ll have more distributors that we have made a connection with at this show.”
The Croatian company currently sells through more than 85 distributors worldwide.
