It replaces the Pronto Plus Neon, which was launched at Fespa 22.
The new machine features several “quality-of-life” upgrades which make it “maintenance free.”
Automatic cleaning, ink agitation and recirculation are all new to the Primo, with LCD screen and system status light added for ease of use alongside an ink bottle system that allows for on-the-fly refills.
Sales director Dalibor Jager said: “Once you plug in the electricity, you can go on vacation for four weeks, come back, put the film in and immediately start printing.”
Jager added that he was excited to be back at Fespa, with more than 150 of Azon’s customers signed up to take a look at the new machine.
Made in Croatia, the €23,760, 10-colour machine is on display alongside a Visio powder shaker at Azon’s stand (B2-D62).
