No limits

Greater size – and therefore greater impact – is always possible, too, with 5m-wide roll-fed printers increasingly common and digitally integrated finishing software making it easier to join the section of large canvas displays together, whether it’s by weld or seam.

HP’s Martin says: “Before we were selling bricks, like Lego bricks, and you had to combine things yourself, nothing was automated. Now we have more and more customers doing the full integration.”

Few will have access to the site, scale and prominence of the Royal scene on Sea Containers House, but, whether it’s buildings, floors, Tube stations or stadiums, when it comes to making a visual impact, few things can compete with well-produced wide-format work.
