The Nuvera 144, as its name suggests, produces 144 A4 pages per minute, 20% faster than the current top of the range Nuvera 120.
In addition to higher speeds the machine has a more powerful workflow and a wider range of inline finishing options including booklet makers and binders.
Like other Nuvera models it has a maximum resolution of 4,800x600dpi, which Xerox says enables it to produce an offset-challenging 156lpi screen for enhanced picture quality.
"With the Nuvera it's possible to produce more powerful marketing materials with faster turnaround times," said Xerox monochrome marketing manager Paul Stead. "Our customers like the high image quality, which comes close to offset."
