The portfolio comprises the i1 Basic Pro, i1 Photo Pro and i1 Publish Pro, all of which include an i1 Pro
spectrophotometer, and the standalone software package i1 Publish.
All four packages feature X-Rite’s next-generation colour profiling software, i1Profiler, which combines the best features of its i1-Match, ProfileMaker and MonacoProfiler software.
X-Rite’s i1Profiler is powered by the i1Prism engine, which lets users build printer profiles for up to eight-colour workflows (RGB, CMYK and CMYK plus four colours).
It allows users to choose between a basic wizard-driven or an advanced user-driven interface to create high quality, precise, custom colour profiles for monitors, projectors, proofers and presses.
Sonia Megert, vice-president of inbound marketing at X-Rite, said: "The integration of the industry-standard i1Pro spectrophotometer and today’s most powerful colour profiling software ensures tremendous value.
"Our new i1 range [includes] features that are designed to accommodate all skill levels, and provide the power and control needed to create the highest-quality colour profiles in one, convenient solution."
The i1 Basic Pro package includes i1Profiler, Pantone colour management software and an i1Pro spectrophotometer and can be used for high-end monitor profiling, monitor and printing quality verification, and spot colour measurement.
The i1 Publish and i1 Publish Pro include a display QA function to check soft proofing to various standards including ISO, G7 and SWOP, and a printer QA function to check print quality using ISO and Fogra media wedges.
Both i1 Photo Pro, intended for photo professionals to manage their RGB workflow, and i1 Publish Pro include i1Profiler, Pantone colour management software and an i1Pro spectrophotometer.
They also include ColorChecker Proof target, mini ColorChecker Classic target and ColorChecker Passport camera calibration software.
