Originally codenamed "Project Jackie", First has been shrouded in secrecy since its announcement at the beginning of the year.
Backed by a 12m investment from Emap, and with a predicted weekly run length more than 200,000 copies, First is a high-profile win for Wyndeham.
"Wyndeham was the outright winner because of its ability to provide us with an integrated pre-press and print solution," said Andy Franks, group production director at Emap.
Wyndeham Graphics will handle the pre-press, with Wyndeham Heron printing the text pages on one of its Lithoman 64/72pp presses.
"The nature of First means our editorial teams could well be making extremely late changes," Franks said. "Wyndeham companies are able to deliver on these tight deadlines and provide us with closed loop colour management."
First will hit newsstands on 17 May.
