The Matrix 530 is set to make its first UK appearance at this year's Northprint in Harrogate.
The £8,000 machine, which can be used for both matt and gloss laminates, can handle paper from 150 to 350 grams up to SRA2 size.
It is currently listed as achieving running speeds of 7m a minute, but marketing manager Cassie Booth said the company believes it is capable of running faster.
VLT is targeting the machines at printers that want to keep their laminating in-house. The company has already sold five machines in the UK.
Booth said: "A rival machine that we did a case study on was valued at £20,000, but our machine works out at just £38 a week. So one job a week will more than pay for the machine."
