German manufacturer Winkler+Dünnebier, which bought the envelope side of the business after it went into administration last year, will be showcasing at the former Buhrs facility at Lohne, Germany on 25-26 May.
The company has been rebranded as W+D Direct Marketing Solutions, a subsidiary business based at the former Buhrs site.
In the UK, five of the 11 Buhrs employees that were made redundant when the UK arm closed have been re-employed.
The team is headed up by UK sales manager Graham O’Neill. He told PrintWeek: "W+D now has the complete solution for envelopes. It has a number of subsidiaries offering envelope making, envelope inserting, envelope over-printing and even a logistics company.
"Customers were saying they didn’t want the Buhrs brand to disappear and although the machines will be white rather than blue, the BB name will continue."
At the event in Lohne, W+D will show the complete range of mailing and fulfillment machines, as well as the latest developments from the parent company.
Machines at the show will include the W+D BB300 and W+D BB700 with system channel as well as W+D’s two-colour offset printing machine for envelopes and pockets and ConceptD – its latest inkjet development.
W+D Direct Marketing Solutions managing director Reinhard Glade said: "More than ever before, W+D DMS today stands for competence, service and state of the art production solutions for direct marketing and document mailing.
"At the same time, the close partnership with our customers and our extended value-added chain guarantees reliable and flexible solutions with maximum productivity and integrity for the future."
