According to PFS, the TPF 450 SA digital creasing and perforating machine is aimed at the high-quality, off-line digital creasing market.
The new machine can finish up to 2000sph and can handle widths of up to 450mm, as well as weights of 400gsm for creasing and 250gsm for perforating.
Total PFS are supplying the Czech-built machine from finishing manufacturer Cyklos. It has a five-programme store in its memory, which offers a maximum of 15 creases or perforations per programme.
According to managing director Clive Richardson, the machine will be available for "under £4,000".
He said: "The new TPF 450 SA will be entering the market at a price point that, when you consider its high level of functionality, will make it an extremely cost-effective option for printers and in-plants who are looking for, but currently can't afford, existing on-demand digital creasing products in the market."
Also being introduced to the UK market are the TPF 435 digital creaser and the TPF 315 digital creaser and perforator.
