Chris Cowley, who was divisional business development director at St Ives, has taken up the new role of sales director at the Website. Heather Galloway, who was estimating manager at Bradford becomes commercial manager; and customer service specialists Chris Poynter and Andrew Pullan have joined as production planner and customer service executive respectively.
Managing director Graham Glynn said the appointments would take the £11.6m company “to the next level”.
“We have grown from being an SME to being a serious player, and now we have recruited some of the most experienced people in the industry,” he said.
The Website runs two web presses at its 4,645sqm facility: an M600 and a twin-web Polyman, as well as a 12-colour Speedmaster with CutStar and a raft of finishing and direct mail kit.
Cowley said the firm aimed to establish a reputation for the highest levels of customer service. “We can produce a vast array of products here all under one roof, from press finished A4 or sub-A4, to section work to be perfect bound or stitched,” he said. “We are building a strong, focused team here who totally understand the needs of our customers.”
