Following the acquisition Venture will be merged with Taylor’s Corporate Graphics Direct Marketing Solutions division and operate under the new name Venture Solutions.
Privately held Taylor has more than 80 diverse companies across North America, China and Europe.
Its graphics communications business is among of the top 10 digital print providers in North America, serving Fortune 1000 companies in compliance-driven markets, including financial services, insurance, healthcare and telecommunications.
Among the services it provides are custom data processing, fully variable digital printing, interactive development, postal optimization and fulfillment.
Neither Venture nor Taylor responded to requests for comment on the acquisition, but in a press release, Taylor CEO Glen Taylor said: "As Taylor continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of its customers, Venture aligns very well with our corporate growth strategy centered on customer communications in compliance-driven markets such as financial services."
Venture Encoding was founded 40 years ago and focuses on printing and communications for loan servicing, borrower communications and marketing solutions for large financial organizations.
"As we searched for a suitable buyer, Taylor stood out as sharing the same values and culture that we are proud of at Venture," Venture Encoding CEO Kenny Hargis said in a statement. "I believe these shared qualities position the combined companies very well for continued future success."Tweet
