Stralfors rebrands DM arm to create 'single reference point'

Stralfors is to "unify" its UK operations after announcing it is to rebrand its direct mail operation DPS under the Stralfors name from 1 January next year.

The company, which was acquired by Stralfors in late 2005, has been trading as DPS Direct Mail from its Orpington, Kent site until now.

Under the new brand, the Kent site will complement the company's Redruth facility in Cornwall, which opened in 2003, and create "a single point of reference" for its clients, Stralfors said.

Last month, the company invested into two new Xerox iGen3 110 colour digital printers for Orpington in response to "growing marketing requirements for colour digital".

The iGen spend allows the UK arm of the European company to make significant savings by bringing its colour digital work in-house.

John Carter, group managing director of Stralfors UK, said: "DPS Direct Mail is well known within the direct mail industry.

"However we felt it was time to unify our UK operations under one familiar name and Stralfors enjoys a great company reputation, both here and across Europe."

Carter added: "Our operation in Orpington is very much a part of that future and we're looking forward to the team's continued success."
