Amersham-based Perfect Print Solutions installed the £250,000 line, which features a camera recognition system and inkjet printing, at the beginning of June.
It continues the company's intention to offer non-standard work, which other printers are not looking at, as well as basic folding, stitching and gluing jobs. It also hopes to add inline die-cutting in the near future.
Peter Price-Stephens, who formed the company, said: "We have moved into the next generation of print finishing doing what was thought impossible by other print finishers. We saw a niche in the market for an innovative approach.
"We can personalise simplex, duplex and on any substrate, tip on anything from cards to ice scrapers."
The 10-staff company is already on target to achieve a turnover of £400,000 this year; however Price-Stephens said that it expected to double that next year.
