SMGG, headquartered in Worcester, is the commercial graphics division of Stanford Marsh Group and specialises in the wide-format market.
SMGG director Adrian Painter said: “With customers typically investing in new technology every three to five years, it's difficult for them to be fully up to speed with what's available since they last looked at the market. Our experience of market developments brings clarity to purchasing.”
He added: “Mimaki is a great name and we feel, particularly with the JV 33 there's a gap in the market to fill. It’s tough but we remain focused and have a good team including head of sales Danny Davies. He knows our professional sales approach: we are not about shifting boxes or bashing square pegs into round holes. We want customers to come back time and time again.”
“With our own finance company, Stanford Marsh Finance, to back up capital equipment sales we can also help customers make changes as new business opportunities come available or when they simply out-grow the initial investment,” said Painter.
Hybrid national sales manager John de la Roche said: “With office locations throughout the UK, I'm confident SMGG will make a significant addition to the accessibility of Mimaki equipment and consumables, especially with their flagship Bristol showroom.”
Hybrid Services is the exclusive UK & Ireland distributor for Mimaki's range of wide-format solvent, latex, UV curing, textile and aqueous inkjet printers, flatbed and pinch roll cutting plotters, software packages and consumables.
