He is in talks with a number of newspaper groups over print arrangements for the tabloid title, which is due to launch in early 2006 with a daily print run of around 40,000.
Deedes said that he was in talks with a number of contract printers but indicated that the Telegraph Group's sites at West Ferry and Trafford Park Printers could be front-runners.
"I'm a contract customer on this, but I'm looking to print in London and Manchester," he said.
The paper will be aimed at 18-24 year-old males and will cover all aspects of gambling and betting, with a pagination of 96-128pp.
"Racing alone takes up a lot of information, but we will be covering all betting," said Deedes.
