Salisbury-based Spire Printing installed the machine on a trial basis to handle a job from The National Trust of Scotland, before opting to keep it.
The job required double scoring in two directions, which its manual creasing machine could not handle.
Managing director Mark Harvey said: "Our customers expect a fast turnaround and high level of quality from Spire Printing."
Spire's Procreaser will handle post cards, folded business cards and menus.
The machine can finish up to 2000 sheets per hour and can take paper up to a width of 450mm, with a weight of 400 gsm for creasing and 250 gsm for perforating.
Spire Printing was established four years ago. It employs five full time staff and has a turnover of £240,000.
Spire boosts finishing options with creaser
Spire Printing has improved its finishing flexibility with a Procreaser Plus creasing and perforating machine from Total Print Finishing Services (Total PFS).
