The group has promoted commercial director Mark Sneddon to the position. Andrew Dalton had been combining his role as group chief executive with the acting managing directorship of Eastfield since January 2000.
Sneddon was previously in charge of Pindars sales, commercial and customer service teams, where he oversaw major growth including new contracts such as Avon UKs 144pp core brochure, which the group won two months ago (PrintWeek, 19 June).
In his new role he will oversee the 5m expansion of the Scarborough plant unveiled in June. Pindar will take on a new 10,000m building opposite its existing site. This plan was a key factor in securing the three-year deal with Avon.
