Shree Refrigerations inks deal with Japan's ancillary kit manufacturer

Shree Refrigerations, the Karad-based manufacturer in Maharashtra, has tied up with Cosmotech Company, a Japanese manufacturer of ancillary equipment for sheetfed industry for making the exclusive range of fountain solution chillers.

All critical components such as alcohol control, auto dosing system and PLC and touch screen controllers will be imported from Japan with fabrication while the refrigeration system will be done in Shree’s CNC press shop.

This is the second tie-up that Shree has entered into. The first was with Inventor Graphic of Sweden for manufacturing of spray dampening and gluing systems.

According to R G Shende, managing director at Shree Refrigerations, the purpose of this cooperation was to make high-end Japanese products available to the Indian printers at an affordable cost while keeping the performance, reliability and aesthetic parameters the same.

"This can be possible only by manufacturing these equipments in India with the help of Japanese technology and manufacturing know-how," he said.

Among the nine DuoSpray dampening system installation across India, one is at the DNA unit in Mumbai.
