The Shinohara Uno 52 is a central impression cylinder B3 machine that looks very similar to KBA's Genius 52, which made its debut at Ipex.
Unlike the Genius, though, the Uno is a standard wet offset machine, according to Vic Fletcher, marketing manager at Shinohara's UK agent GAE.
The Uno is all about ideas and concepts, said Fletcher. "At Drupa you'll see more."
Among the updates to the firm's existing presses is a new livery, but the updates go more than skin deep and include speed increases. The B3 52 is up from 11,000 to 15,000 sheets per hour and the B2 75 is up from 12,000 to 17,000 sheets per hour.
