The eight-colour plus white and spot colour ink-jet flatbed printer was installed last month. Screenprint has also ordered a software upgrade to increase the print quality, which is expected to arrive in July.
"This machine can do flat-bed and reel-to-reel on one machine," said Screenprint sales director Martyn Hicks.
"It can also print UV varnish and can put down Pantone colour as well as four-colour process."
"The most exciting bit though is it is very fast it has the capacity to print an area the size of a tennis court in less than two hours and also very high quality," continued Hicks.
Other features include a white ink option as the basis for overprinting and for spot colour. The Nur Tempo is able to print directly onto a range of rigid and flexible substrates including vinyl, glass and wood.
