Administrator BDO Stoy Hayward was appointed last Wednesday (22 March).
The speciality side of the firm's business was bought by Alpha Media on Thursday (23 March), headed by Scorpio's chief executive Ian Whitfield, and on Friday (24 March), the trade finishing arm was purchased by Scorpio Print Finishers, led by managing director Darren Walker.
"I'm relieved that we've preserved the [230] jobs, equally it's very sad that it came to this," said Whitfield.

Scorpio Print Finishing has been bought out of administration, completing the sales to split into two separate firms.
