We will share the result as soon as we get it from the independent company later this afternoon.
Solidarity.
The original ballot timeline was suspended due to what the union described as a “toxic” working environment at Royal Mail, following a fraught and bitter dispute between the employer and CWU members working at the postal operator.
It involves more than 115,000 CWU members.
The CWU's Postal Executive recommended a yes vote.
The result is expected to be announced later today.
