Roland adds to VersaCamm range of wide-format cutting printers

Roland has added two new models to its VersaCamm range of wide-format digital printers.

The 30in VP-300 and 54in VP-540 are inkjet machines that target print firms, high-street copy shops, retailers and offices.

Both products incorporate a cutter line and can be used as a standalone printer, a printer with cutter or a
standalone vinyl cutter. They can handle self-adhesive vinyl, paper, film and heat-transfer paper.

The machines will make their UK debut at Sign UK, which takes place at the NEC on 1-3 May. The VP-300 is priced at £8,999, while the VP-540 costs £12,499.

The VP-300 and VP-540 also feature Roland’s VersaWorks 2.2, which is the latest version of the company’s RIP software.

Roland senior product manager Brett Newman said: “Roland print and cut technology allows users to build their businesses by adding new high-impact graphics that reflect exceptional print quality.”

Last month, Roland announced it would show the SolJet Pro III V XC-540 at Sign UK. The company’s engraving portfolio will also be demonstrated.
