The machine is already available with EFI's Fiery E-41 print server as an entry-level option for corporate and commercial work, with the option to upgrade to the E-81 for demanding graphics environments.
The C-81 presents a different upgrade path for users with full support for Adobe PDF Print Engine (APPE) 2, support for Pantone's GOE library, a customisable spectrophotometric colour library and a range of optional plug-ins.
Ricoh UK production print director Stephen Palmer said: "Ricoh's objective is to help its customers achieve business success by providing them with the means to continuously improve productivity, reduce costs and enhance output quality.
The expanded range of print servers for the Pro C901 Graphic Arts Edition is available now in the UK.
