The updated version, which is based on Adobe InDesign Server and written in Adobe Flex, allows printers to offer a web-based interface for the design and customisation of a wide range of printed products.
Frank Miller, chief executive of the US-based company, said: "We partnered with Adobe to build this release on InDesign Server so our customers could deploy templates faster and confidently import existing layouts without compromising design intent."
Dynamic Layout+ is available as an optional module to extend the capabilities of Customer+, which is a hosted software suite for deploying web-to-print storefronts.
Responsive Solutions said the module could enable design and customisation of promotional items, direct mail, event tickets, point-of-purchase, greeting cards, retail displays, coupons, books and advertisements.
The web-based software has reportedly seen highest demand from printers and publishers focused on casino gambling, franchise support, sports entertainment and yearbooks.
